Labeled Hotspots
Left Ventricle — Thick-walled chamber pumping oxygenated blood into systemic circulation via the aorta; generates the highest pressure of any cardiac chamber
Right Ventricle — Pumps deoxygenated blood through the pulmonary trunk to the lungs for oxygenation
Left Atrium — Receives oxygenated blood from the four pulmonary veins; feeds the left ventricle through the mitral valve
Right Atrium — Collects deoxygenated blood from the superior and inferior vena cavae; contains the SA node pacemaker
Aorta — Largest artery in the body; carries oxygenated blood from the left ventricle to the systemic circulation
